Artemisia Films enjoys collaborating with interesting people on interesting films, wherever they are based in the world and on whatever size of project.
Recent credits include award-winning feature film CHUCK CHUCK BABY (BFI/BBC Film/Ffilm Cymru) which screened at festivals around the world including Toronto and Edinburgh, and narrative short DELIVERANCE (Film4/BFI FutureTakes).
Other work includes supernatural drama ATTRITION (BFI/France 3), award-winning deaf hip hop music drama HERE/NOT HERE, and drama IT’S TRUE, IT’S TRUE, IT’S TRUE about the rape trial of painter Artemisia Gentileschi (BBC).
Anne Beresford has built a strong body of work in film across music, arts, dance, and drama. Credits include MOUTH TO MOUTH starring Elliot Page; Prix Italia winner SWAN LAKE BATH BALLET and the SHAKESPEARE SHORTS. Anne has produced many stage-to-screen cinema films including PETER GRIMES ON ALDEBURGH BEACH and MAXINE PEAKE AS HAMLET. She is a visiting special lecturer at Central St Martins (UAL)
Andrew Gillman began his career as a film editor in TV commercials and music videos before becoming a director. His TV experience covers many ground-breaking programmes such as NETWORK 7, THE DAY TODAY, and LEE EVANS and PETER KAY’s debut TV series. He also directed TV series starring RUBY WAX and ROB BRYDON. As a producer, Andrew works across all Artemisia’s output. He is a senior visiting tutor with the NFTS
